An attractive Parian bust of a Renaissance Woman marked Bates, Brown, Westhead and Moore & Co and dating from c. 1860. The young woman has a simple but finely detailed hairstyle and headdress while the brooch or fastening to her gown is also delicately modelled.
Bates, Brown, Westhead and Moore were in business from 1859 to 1861.
