A charming small Parian figure of a bather seated on a rock by Goss, dating from the First Period 1858-1887. The young woman appears to have been disturbed at her bath.

This figure is illustrated in Nicholas Pine’s book “Concise Encyclopaedia and 2000 Price Guide to Goss China” 1999 on pages 101 & 102 as “Bather nude, in pensive mood, seated on rock”.

Impressed mark 'W H GOSS' to the back.

Height: 22cm (c. 8.7”)

Condition: This figure is in excellent condition. There is a tiny indentation at the rear base from the manufacturing process, probably from a burst air bubble.
