A small Parian group of a young girl and a baby

This delightful small Parian group shows two children, the sleeping baby leaning against his sister and holding a basket of eggs in his left hand and flowers in his right. A snake curls round the baby. The figure is unmarked and dates from the second half of the nineteenth century.

Height: 13½cm (5.3”).

Condition: Very good: There is a tiny flake lacking at the back base edge. Underneath there is a chip to the inner edge of the base, invisible from the exterior.
