An uncommon unmarked Parian bust of Abraham Lincoln

An uncommon Parian bust of Abraham Lincoln (1809 – 1865), unmarked for manufacturer. The bust is attached to the socle by slip rather than a bolt.

Height 22cm (8¾“)

Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States, leading the Union through the Civil War with the seceded Confederacy from 1861 until his assassination by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Condition: Very good with just a small flake off his left lapel just below the upper buttonhole. There are firing lines along the joins with the sleeves.
