A charming small Copeland Parian vase in the form of a mouse carrying on its back a large bonnet with a frilly edge, dating from the last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.  The base has the faint impressed mark 'COPELAND' and another maker's mark.  Height 7.3cm (2.9").
Condition. Â This small vase is in excellent, undamaged, condition. Â There is a round hole in the paws of the mouse which could have been made to hold something. Â Other models of this figure I have seen do not have this and I do not believe that there is anything missing from this figure.
