Charming Copeland parian mouse & bonnet

A charming small Copeland Parian vase in the form of a mouse carrying on its back a large bonnet with a frilly edge, dating from the last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.  The base has the faint impressed mark 'COPELAND' and another maker's mark.  Height 7.3cm (2.9").

Condition.  This small vase is in excellent, undamaged, condition.  There is a round hole in the paws of the mouse which could have been made to hold something.  Other models of this figure I have seen do not have this and I do not believe that there is anything missing from this figure.
