A good quality Copeland Parian bust of ‘Love’ depicted as a woman with long hair draped over her shoulders and with a rose at the front of her dress. The bust was modelled by the skilled sculptor Raffaelle Monti and dated September 1871. Made for the Ceramic and Crystal Palace Art Union in 1877.
Height 35 cm.
Condition is very good with just a few small chips to the top of the socle where it joins the base of the bust.
