A well-detailed Robinson and Leadbeater bust of Queeen Victoria on an integral square socle, produced for the occasion of the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 1887. The reverse of the bust if marker 'R&L' in an oval cartouche, and 'JUBILEE 1887'. Considerable effort has been made to capture the details in the Queen's clothing. Height 18.8cm (7.4").
Dating: c 1887
Condition. This bust is in excellent, undamaged, condition. There are two short firing cracks at the points where the socle merges with the back of the bust, and another small firing fault to the tip of one of the ruffles to the front of the cap. Please study our photographs.
