A Minton Parian figure of an Italian Greyhound or Saluki.  This figure is unmarked but is illustrated in the Parian Phenomenon, page 63, fig 78 as Minton shape no. 120. Though called an “Italian Greyhound” in this reference, the dog appears to be a Saluki. The Shape List reproduced earlier in the chapter notes that this figure was first made in Parian in 1847.

Condition: there is a tiny, inconspicuous flake off the edge of the base (top right-hand corner in photo), otherwise this figure is in excellent condition.
