A Parian bread platter by Goss. This fine oval platter is decorated within with ears of wheat and has an inscription round the edge stating “Where reason rules the appetite obeys”. The platter dates from the Goss first period 1858 – 1887. Size: 30.5cm (12”) x 25cm (10”)
