A beautiful large Copeland Parian figure of Nora Creina after Raffaele Monti 1870. This model is dated 1876. Nora Creina is a character in the poem “Lesbia hath a beaming eye” by the Irish poet Thomas Moore (1779 – 1852).
This serene and graceful figure is illustrated in The Parian Phenomenon page 152 fig 515 and in Robert Copeland’s book “Parian - Copeland’s Statuary Porcelain” page 162 fig S119.
